Establish a set of electric car requirements which a "tipping point" number of potential car purchasers can accept as important to their own purchase tis year.
Use these requirements to scour what is available for purchase in the U.S. in 2011 and evaluate how well these products meet our requirements. Produce rankings summarizing information of these evaluations in lay-person easy to understand language.
Produce a set of easy to read and understand reports in a form which can be easily updated throughout the year.
Summarize our findings into a most digestible form to help educate like minded consumers and provide the contact information for further research and/or the purchase of these cars.
Hopefully, through the information in the reports, prime the pump and start a sales trend by like minded consumers purchasing cars with much less to no fuel needs, which eventually may replicate the early-adopter popularity Toyota has enjoyed with the first improved fuel economy hybrid electric cars. And just maybe be part of a significant trend to lessen the U.S. automobile dependence on oil for fuel.
